Bad Romance

Okay, is anyone else completely obsessed with Lady Gaga's new single, Bad Romance? I literally cannot stop listening to it. ;-; Just repeats itself repeats itself repeats itself, in the words of Sam Witwicky.

Anyway, I'm back from Oxford! It was a really amazing experience - I got so inspired for Aurora I started rewriting Part One when I got home, lol. I don't think I'll be too long doing that, though, and it'll be worth it once I'm done. ;] I feel honoured to even be considered for interview - only 4% of Oxford students are from state schools, like me, and 50% of the applicants got knocked out of the process without an interview invite. The interviewers were much nicer than I expected (which I think could be good or bad), and overall I think I did well. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath with a disheartening statistic like that. If anything, it was wonderful to spend time with other hopeful applicants, and the inspiration it gave me was immense! o_o Plus I think I can ace my UCL interview after that one, haha.

Like I said, Aurora's going to briefly delayed for a quick rewrite, but as soon as it's done I'm sending it off to an agent. I know I've been saying that for the past . . . several weeks . . . :\ but really, there's no point in handing in a half-arsed manuscript to an agent. It's got to be the best I can possibly write, and I have the unfortunate foible of being a perfectionist by nature (again, this could be good or bad). I've got two new scenes up my sleeve from my time at Oxford, so I'm going to spend the next week writing those out.

School is the usual . . . only with twice as much pressure from the parents o_o;

That's cool. :) I'm good. I have finals next week at my high school, then I'll finally be on a freaking two week xmas vacation! Yes! :excited:
I'm currently writing a HP one shot with a HarryxOC. It's sort of like a preview into a story I'm working on. So readers can kinda get a taste of how I write and whatnot. :)

Yeah, If I like it. :) I'm also planning out a Transformers fic, but I'm trying to decide what universe to put it in...the 07/09 movieverse, or the Animated one...gah! ;)

OMG don't kill, i totally forgot your B-day past, i have running around crazy with work... HAPPY BIRTHDAY from across the pond. I still want to send you crab cakes but i don't know if they keep while shipped, you now how seafood is. Im glad you had a great 18th birthday.
